What we do
I am Alison Gibb, an interiors feature writer and stylist. My husband, Douglas Gibb, is a photographer, and together, we have been creating features for interiors magazines for over twenty years.
We create features for all the major interior titles including Ideal Home, Homes & Garden, 25 Beautiful Homes, House Beautiful, Your Home and many others, aiming to place our stories in the best possible context for the owner and the designer.

Design consultancy
Years of creating features for interiors magazines and sharing my expertise on design in print and online has meant that I am often approached for help and advice on interior projects, both domestic and commercial. I am always delighted to hear about any plans and to chat through and share ideas, but for more in depth help I have created a very simple, but slightly more formal process called a Room Report.
When you purchase a Room Report you will receive an email asking for a minimum of four images of every side of the room in question, and an idea of your personal interior style. If you have done the Interior Design Toolkit, you will know your personal style, but otherwise, simply state your preferences. I will continue to correspond by email or, if easier, by telephone about your requirements and you will ultimately receive, a detailed, illustrated report, advising you on paint colours, wallpaper suggestions, layout, fabrics, ideas for storage and accessories.
